Miranda Joy is a UK-based singer-songwriter with deep roots in the London live music scene. Performing since her teens, she’s built a reputation for captivating, soulful performances across some of the city’s most respected venues and events, including Crazy Coqs, O2 Academy Islington, 93 Feet East, Camden Assembly, Green Note, The Spice of Life and The Jago. She has also appeared at festivals such as How The Light Gets In, The Great Escape and Rye Jazz & Blues Festival, alongside showcases for Wood Burner Events, Soul Stripped Sessions, Lady Live Events and Nasty Women UK.
Her own releases have gained strong radio support. Miranda’s singles have received multiple radio plays across the UK and US, including airplay on BBC Introducing, as well as a live studio set on Soho Radio, helping to grow her audience and profile as a solo artist.
Alongside her solo work, Miranda is an in-demand collaborator and songwriter. She co-wrote the single I Just Came to Dance for soul artist Carmy Love, which received widespread praise and multiple plays on Craig Charles’ BBC Radio 2 show. She has supported acts including Xylaroo and The Little Unsaid, and contributed backing vocals to Peter Beatty’s album Different Flowers, multiple singles with The EMC and featured vocals on Callum McNeill’s single Use Your Words.
Miranda’s songwriting has also found a home in sync, with her track The Fall featured on BBC One’s Super Bowl Highlights coverage in 2017, and her other music airing internationally across TV and radio in collaboration with NE1 and Audio Network.
In 2020, she was featured on a songwriting podcast published by American Songwriter magazine and broadcast on syndicated radio across the US.
Miranda is currently releasing new music, with Canada and followed by her latest single Figs, which came out in 2025, and has more releases on the way.
